Job Title: Barista
Location: LB’s Coffee Shop, Litchfield, WS14 0PS
Contract Type: Zero Hour Contract
Are you passionate about coffee and providing excellent customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? LB’s Coffee Shop is looking for enthusiastic and friendly baristas to join our team on a zero hour contract basis!
About us: At LB’s, we pride ourselves on serving high-quality coffee and delicious cakes in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our team is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our customers, and we’re looking for baristas who share our love for coffee and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee (with latte art!) and tea beverages to the highest standards
Operate coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines and grinders
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop
Engage with customers, take orders, and handle payments efficiently
Assist in managing inventory and restocking supplies as needed
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
Requirements:
Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is essential
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about the craft

About Us: At LB’s, we believe in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our customers while serving top-quality coffee and delicious cakes. Our team is dedicated to providing outstanding service, and we are looking for Front of House Team Members who share our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude
Take orders at the counter and manage customer transactions efficiently
Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately
Maintain a clean and tidy dining area, including clearing tables and washing dishes
Assist with the setup and restocking of displays and merchandise
Respond to customer questions and provide information about menu items in an enthusiastic and upbeat manner
Collaborate with the barista team to ensure smooth service
Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
Requirements:
Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
